Era uma vez um anjinho muito distraído chamado AMOREL, que recebeu uma incumbência de Deus:
- AMOREL, acabo de inventar os humanos. Eles estão classificados como homem e mulher, cada um tem seu par perfeito e já estão todos alinhados de par em par. Pegue esta bandeja com humanos e leve para que eles habitem a Terra.
AMOREL ficou contente pois, há muito tempo, o Senhor não o chamava para tão nobre trabalho. O anjinho pegou a bandeja e ao virar uma esquina lá no céu, trombou com uma anjinha chamada AMANDA.
A bandeja voou longe, e todos os casais de humanos se misturaram.
AMOREL e AMANDA ficaram desesperados e foram contar para Deus o ocorrido e o Senhor falou:
- Vocês derrubaram, vocês juntarão!
Porém, parece que Deus se esqueceu que os anjinhos eram distraídos. E é por isso que a cada dia os casais se juntam e se separam.
Os dois anjinhos, trabalham incessantemente para que os pares perfeitos originais se encontrem.
O trabalho é muito difícil, tanto é, que por muitas vezes eles juntam pares errados, pois os humanos espalhados ficam inquietos e cobram o serviço dos anjinhos, o tempo todo.
